A vibrant sunrise captured in bloom, this striking flower unfurls with six broad petals painted in a warm apricot, each dramatically streaked with luminous lemon yellow from the centre outwards. The delicate veining in a slightly deeper apricot shade adds a sophisticated depth to the surface, creating a subtle, hand-painted effect that catches the light beautifully. At its heart, a charming cluster of smaller, curled lemon yellow petaloids nestles closely around the creamy white stigma, giving the bloom a distinctive semi-double appearance with approximately eight to nine petals in total. This cheerful variety brings a burst of tropical warmth to any display, thriving in the post-monsoon sunshine and offering consistent flushes of colour between June and October on the Indian peninsula when well-watered.
