A small flame against the summer sky, each bloom a vibrant six-petalled star opening cleanly to reveal its warm heart. The broad petals present a rich salmon hue, finely veined with a slightly deeper, almost reddish shade that adds a subtle texture and visual interest. At the very centre, a splash of bright lemon yellow radiates outwards from the throat, blending seamlessly into the warm salmon and beautifully contrasting with the prominent golden anthers. This is a cheerful, classic single-form, exuding a confident elegance without fuss. It blooms readily after a good monsoon shower, delivering consistent flushes of colour and looking particularly striking when planted in groups or paired with deeper reds or creamy whites in a mixed container display, bringing a touch of tropical warmth to any garden.
